Africa’s leaders know that large, long-term land restoration efforts are underway, including tree planting and grassland recovery programs like the Great Green Wall. These efforts matter, but their benefits often take years to reach remote families and villages.

That is why household- and village-level solutions are critical. This biodigester system delivers immediate results: on-demand cooking fires, productive garden food, improved nutrition, and much less time spent gathering firewood.

By meeting daily needs at the family level, pressure on surrounding trees and grasslands is reduced, helping protect the gains of larger restoration projects. One family and one village at a time, communities are strengthened now while long-term environmental recovery is preserved.
