working with our solar-assisted biodigesters.
Approximately 50 million families in the
Africa Savannas cut trees and burn wood for cooking.
By replacing wood fire with biogas, and building
soil nutrients back for productive family gardens,
…. the scale and scope of our project is truly historic.
The Savannah design, biodigester tank was originally
a part of the Solar Assisted Biodigester, designed to operate
with a minimal maintenance routine while providing stable gas
and digestate production from food waste and cow manure.
This minimalist approach, combined with several unique
structural features, was first created for a stable experimental environment
for integrating solar heating components.
THEN … a microbiologist from Ghana, came on-site to examine the biodigester.
He educated me about the wind-eroded desertification in Africa.
And ha explained to me that this was the “missing puzzle piece”
that is country desperately needed.
The academic community of Africa has responded with enthusiasm to volunteer.
And I have donated my design, detail drawings, parts lists, instruction, and consulting.
And so it begins!
